Membership dues will be $80/team for the year. Tournaments will be $50/day per team. Tournaments will pay back 90% cash, with the team dues and remaining 10% funding trophies, end of year awards, scales and website expense. Please see payback schedule for more information.
2. MEMBER CONDUCT
Each member of FFC, represents FFC. That being said, we expect all members to be courteous and conduct themselves in a sportsman like manor. Confrontations will be dealt with by the officials in the club and could lead to disqualification and barred from future events.
3. VESSELS,GEAR AND SAFETY
All boats are required to have the appropriate safety gear and liability insurance. They also must have a live well to support your catch. All members are required to wear life jackets at blast off! No illegal drugs or alcohol.
4. TROPHIES AND AWARDS
FFC will have trophies for the first place, second place and big fish at every event. We will also have year end trophies for the Team of the year, Big fish of the year, and Biggest Creel. The Teams that win the end of year awards will also split the remaining club funds. For any team to qualify for the end of year awards and money you must fish a minimum of 7 tournaments during the year excluding the Classic.
5. FISH
Only Largemouth, smallmouth and Kentucky bass will be weighed. All fish must be a minimum of 12” in length, unless larger limits are in place for the locality being fished, and ONLY 5 fish per team. A maximum of 5 fish are allowed in your live well at any time. If you have 6 or more fish in your live well your fish will NOT be weighed. If you bring a short fish to the scale, you will not be allowed to weigh it or your largest fish. Tournament directors will be using a Golden Rule to measure questionable fish. Dead fish will receive a 4 ounce penalty and will not be weighed for lunker or big fish of the year.
6. TOURNEY DAY REGISTRATION AND WEIGH IN
All members must register with the treasurer, and have live wells checked prior to take off. The treasurer will have a sign off sheet that you will sign when you give him your entry fee for the event. Your team/boat must be back at the ramp area on time! If you are late your fish will not be weighed. If you break down, you can bag your fish and hitch a ride back to weigh in, leave your partner with your boat and we will go back and tow you in. When you bring your fish to the scales you are required to sign off on the weigh in sheet next to your weight. After weigh in one of the officials will read off the top weights, big fish and distribute trophies and cash to the winning teams. Results will be posted on the website the following week.
7. SUBSTITUITIONS
Teams will be allowed 3 substitutes per year. For each time a substitute is used, the team will be required to pay a $10 substitute fee that will be added to the year end purse.
8. CLASSIC
Our final event of the year will be the “CLASSIC”. The classic will be a stand alone tournament and not count towards year end awards. It will be a 2 day event, voted on by all members of FFC. Entry fee for the classic will be $100/ team. Total weight for the 2 combined days will determine standings. There will be Big fish payout each day, however only the largest fish and 1st and 2nd place teams will receive trophy’s for the event. At the end of the second day FFC officials will announce the regular season end of year winners and distribute trophy’s and prize money.
9. TEAM OF THE YEAR
There are 13 tournaments in the 2010 season. Team of the year will be awarded to the team that has the most combined weight for 12 tournaments. If your Team fishes all 13 events you will be able to drop your worst finish. Team of the year will be honored with Trophy’s and 1/3rd of the reaming club funds.
10. RULES AND REGS
Interpretation of the Rules and Regulations will be at the discretion of the club officials. No hole sitting, sharing of fish will be allowed. Only artificial baits can be used. At any time any member of FFC can request to have a meeting to change or modify any part of the rules and regulations. All changes, modifications or addendums to the Rules and Regs, as well as changing officials requires a majority vote in favor of the alteration or replacement.
